With over 17 years of providing youth sport programs to the local community, let the team at Foothill Fitness take your youth athlete to the next level. Partnering with Foothill Hoops and local certified Athletic Trainers, we can provide the guidance and training to train young athletes correctly and effectively.


We utilize certified personal trainers, and instructors who have professional experience in their field of expertise. All of our trainers have many years of experience in youth athletics. For those seeking personal training sessions, we will pair your athlete with the best fit. Our goal is to train your athlete with the absolute best and safest methods. David Salazar

David Salazar is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and basketball trainer. David played HS basketball at Notre Dame High and graduated with a degree in exercise science from the University of San Francisco. Born and raised in Los Angeles he has massive experience in the AAU circuit and continues his passion of educating kids on and off the court. David is currently leading the Foothill Fitness Fall Classes, and looks forward to challenging your athlete, taking them to the next level.

Paul Young

Paul Young has over 15 years of youth sports coaching experience. Currently studying for his Certified Personal Training (CPT) Certification, as well as his Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA) program, Paul has coaching experience in the following programs: Foothill Hoops, YMCA Sports, AST (Advanced Skills Training), Foothill Golf, California Junior Golf, and more. Paul is a fitness enthusiast, and believes in training for longevity, flexibility and overall health.

Crystal Young

Crystal has over 10 years experience in coaching youth sports. She played basketball, softball and volleyball in High School. She has coached basketball with the Foothill Hoops organization since 2010, leading the 3,4 and 5 year old divisions. She also has experience leading the youth Pearls cheerleading program at Crescenta Valley Park. Crystal was also an instructor at Little Gym, specializing in youth fitness, flexibility and mobility. She loves to make fitness fun.

TC Smith

A Chicago Native but considers California home, Coach TC has played for 15+ years, first with rec leagues than to AAU, on to high school, college and a brief semi-pro team. During her time in the Bay Area, she began coaching the Warrior’s camps. Once moving to Southern California, She started coaching at Reseda Charter HS, coaching and overseeing the girls’ basketball program. Coach TC prides herself on creating a philosophy and culture that pushes kids beyond their limits and builds character. Through her own personal experiences of having bad coaches she wants to teach, develop, and mentor young athletes not only on the court but off the court. What drives her is knowing that everyday kids are being challenged to push themselves to be the best they can be. As she continues to build up her players and strives to make a difference she knows having a platform, like Foothill will be a great contributor to our communities’ youth and future generations.
